Motherhood was never meant in solitude.
Through breathwork, nervous system support and a deeper understanding of motherhood, I help mothers create space to breathe, rest and reconnect with themselves.
Many mothers move through life carrying more tension than they even realise. You may look calm on the outside, while internally feeling overstimulated, emotionally exhausted, constantly alert, or disconnected from yourself.
Perhaps you notice that:
✓ You react more quickly than you’d like
✓ You feel overwhelmed by the mental load of motherhood
✓ Tense, resltess, or unably to fully switch off and rest
✓ You often put your own needs last
✓ You feel disconnected from yourself and your body
You don’t need to wait until complete exhaustion to ask for support.
Why breathwork?
Your body often knows before your mind does.
We can understand a lot about ourselves intellectually and still find ourselves reacting in ways we don’t fully understand. Stress, overwhelm, pregnancy, postpartum recovery and the demands of motherhood can all affect the way we breathe — often without us realising it. The breath may become shallow, restricted or held.
Breathwork offers a way in. By bringing conscious attention to the breath and body, we create space to notice sensations, emotions, patterns and responses that may be difficult to access through thinking alone. Sometimes this means releasing physical tension and feeling more at ease. Sometimes something deeper becomes visible: a feeling, a pattern, a need, or a new understanding of yourself.
Through conscious breathing and nervous-system-informed support, we work gently with what is present, creating the conditions for the body to soften, regulate and reconnect. Breathwork isn’t about forcing something to happen. It’s about creating enough space and safety to listen to what your body may already be telling you.
Through breathwork, you may experience:
✓ A calmer and more regulated nervous system
✓ More softness and space in your body
✓ Greater emotional balance
✓ More grounded and calm responses to stress
✓ Moments of true rest and presence
Breathwork & the pelvic floor
The breath and pelvic floor work together with every inhale and exhale. During pregnancy, birth and postpartum, this relationship can change. Stress, pain, and tension can also influence how we breathe and how the pelvic floor responds.
Postpartum pelvic floor recovery deserves more attention than simply “getting your strength back”. Learning to breathe well, release tension and reconnect with the pelvic floor can be an important part of recovery, alongside appropriate pelvic floor rehabilitation when needed.
While my work is not pelvic floor physiotherapy, understanding this connection allows me to support mothers more holistically. I work alongside pelvic floor physiotherapists when appropriate, so mothers can receive the specialised care they need while also having space to work with breath, nervous system regulation and their relationship with their body.
Breathwork during pregnancy
Pregnacy asks a lot from both the body and the nervous system. Your body is constantly adapting. These sessions offer a space to slow down and reconnect with yourself underneath the constant changes. A space to breathe more deeply, soften tension, and feel supported in body and mind.
Gentle breathwork during pregnancy may support you in:
✓ Calming and regulating the nervous system
✓ Feeling more grounded and connected to your changing body
✓ Creating moments of rest, presence and emotional space
✓ Deepening your connection with your baby
✓ Building trust in yourself, your body and the birth process

CALM WITHIN — 1:1 journey for mothers
This is a gentle 3-session breathwork journey designed to support you in creating more calm, awareness and regulation in everyday motherhood. Together, we move through a personalised three-part process: understanding what is happening, exploring what you need, and integrating what you discover into everyday life.
This journey includes:
✓ A comprehensive intake
✓ 3 private 90-minute sessions
✓ Personalised support between sessions
✓ Somatic breathwork, nervous system regulation & reflection
✓ Practical tools to integrate into daily life.
This is why I work over multiple sessions. Rather than trying to create change in one session, we have time to build trust, notice what your body is asking for, work with what comes up, and integrate the experience into your everyday life. The result is a more supported and sustainable process of change.
What we work towards:
✓ Feeling calmer, more grounded and less overwhelmed
✓ Understanding your triggers with greater compassion
✓ Creating more space between feeling and reacting
✓ Reconnecting with your body, needs and sense of self
✓ Feeling more present and connected within your motherhood
the nourishing journey
01 — understand
Together, we explore your current season of motherhood, your patterns, triggers, nervous system, breath and body. We create a foundation for understanding what is happening — without judgement or the pressure to change it immediately.
Your first personalised breathwork session creates space for awareness and safety, inviting you to slow down, connect with your body and begin noticing what is present beneath the surface.
02 — explore
With that awareness, we begin to explore what lies underneath. We make space for your needs, emotions, patterns and responses, using somatic practices, breathwork and reflection to help you reconnect with yourself and discover what support you actually need.
Through conversation, reflection and a second breathwork session, we create space to explore these layers rather than simply trying to manage them.
03 — integrate
The final session is about bringing what you’ve discovered into everyday life. Together, we identify what you want to carry forward and create practical ways to support yourself beyond our sessions — so that the work doesn’t stay in our space, but becomes part of how you move through motherhood.
Your third breathwork session gives you another opportunity to connect with your body and consolidate the work we’ve done together.
The 1:1 sessions are held on the Keizersgracht in Amsterdam, with the option of at-home sessions for expectant mothers.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need experience with breathwork?
No. The session is fully guided and adapted to you. You don’t need any prior experience, just a willingness to slow down, be present with your body, and let go of any expectations.
Why three sessions rather than offering a single session?
Three sessions give us the time to move beyond a one-off experience. We can build trust, notice patterns, explore what is underneath them, and integrate what comes up into everyday life. Each session builds on the previous one, while the breathwork is adapted to where you are at that point in your journey.
Is breathwork part of every session?
Yes. Each of the three sessions includes personalised breathwork. The breathwork isn’t a fixed sequence that we repeat each time — it is adapted to what you’re experiencing and what feels supportive for you in that session.
Do I need to know anything about breathwork beforehand?
Not at all. You don’t need previous experience with breathwork, meditation or somatic practices. I’ll guide you throughout each session and explain what we’re doing and why.
What happens if I feel like I need more than three sessions?
Three sessions create a contained space to begin meaningful work together. Some mothers may feel complete at the end of the journey, while others may want continued support. We can discuss what feels appropriate at the end of our three sessions — there is no expectation to continue.
What happens between the sessions?
You’ll receive personalised support and simple practices or reflections to explore between sessions. The intention isn’t to give you a long list of things to do, but to help you notice and integrate the work into your actual life.
What if I feel emotional during the session?
This is completely welcome. Breathwork can bring you in deeper contact with your emotions. Everything that arises is approached with care and without pressure. You are always in control of your pace. Feeling safe is number one priority.
What if I don’t feel comfortable with something during a session?
You are always in charge of your experience. We work collaboratively and you can slow down, pause or stop at any point. The breathwork is adapted to you rather than asking you to push through discomfort.
Is breathwork safe during pregnancy?
Yes, when practiced gently and with awareness. Sessions are always adapted to your stage of pregnancy, with a focus on calm, supportive breathing rather than intense techniques. No breath retentions will be applied.
What if I’m not sure whether three sessions are right for me?
That’s exactly what the free discovery call is for. We can talk about what you’re currently experiencing, what you’re looking for and whether this journey feels like the right form of support for you.
