But my real <em>understanding<\/em> of the nervous system came from a lived experience. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">From a young age, I struggled with feeling overwhelmed and disconnected from my body, shaped by early experiences that created a sense of instability and stress. I didn&#8217;t really understand what was happening at the time, only that I often felt tense and not fully at ease with myself. This resulted in physical discomfort such as digestive issues, hormonal imbalances, and periods of depression, which I later came to understand through the lens of the nervous system. Over time, I started to learn more about regulation, trauma, and the body, and slowly things began to make sense in a different way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">That journey changed how I relate to myself completely. It also opened up a curiosity about breathe, something so simple yet so fundamental. It has a direct effect on how we feel, think, and respond.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Becoming a mother brought all of these even closer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Matrescence\u2014the physical, psychological, and emotional transition from woman to mother\u2014was a very intens and transformative experience for me. My identity, my body, my emotions&#8230; everything was shifting at once. In that time, I kept coming back to one simple anchor: my breath.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">It helped me slow down, come back into my body, and stay present in moments that felt overwhelming.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">That&#8217;s where Nourishing Breath really started to take shape. Over time, my work also expanded into becoming a parental brain educator, as I became more and more interested in how early parenting reshapes the brain, the nervous system, and the way we relate to ourselves and our children.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Today, my work is focused on supporting mothers who feel overwhelmed or overstimulated.
