Nourishing Breathwork Breathwork & Nervous System Support for Mothers
Motherhood without self-abandonment.
You don’t have to carry motherhood alone. Through breathwork and nervous system support, I help mothers feel less overwhelmed and more like themselves again. Based in Amsterdam.
Saskia Moët
Mother, breathwork guide & founder of Nourishing Breathwork
Becoming a mother is one of the most profound transformation we experience. It changes not only our daily lives, but also the way we relate to ourselves, our bodies, and the world around us.
When I became a mother, I found myself fascinated by this transition. I began exploring matrescence, the science of the parental brain, attachment, and nervous system regulation. At the same time, I kept returning to a simple question: surely motherhood was never meant to feel this overwhelming and unsupported? The more I learned, the more I realised that many mothers are carrying far more than they were ever meant to carry alone. This understanding became the foundation of Nourishing Breath.
My approach blends breathwork, nervous system regulation, and an understanding of the parental brain to help mothers reconnect with themselves. Together, we work to release tension, reduce overwhelm, and cultivate calm, presence, and trust in daily life. I also draw on my background in cultural anthropology, which continues to shape the way I view motherhood. It taught me to look beyond individual experiences and question the wider structures, expectations, and cultural norms that influence how mothers are expected to care, nurture, and cope.
Through 1:1 sessions and workshops, I support mothers in finding more space for themselves within motherhood, so they can feel less overwhelmed and more like themselves again. Because supporting mothers is supporting children—and motherhood shouldn’t require losing yourself in the process.

The mother comes first.
Most parenting support focuses on the child. This work begins with the mother’s nervous system. When a mother feels more regulated, calm, connection, and co-regulation begin to shift naturally.
Motherhood was never meant to be navigated in survival mode.

A guided group journey for parents navigating the early years of parenthood.
The first years of parenthood can feel beautiful and overwhelming all at once. The Calm Together Method™ is a guided group journey for parents who feel overstimulated, emotionally reactive, or constantly “on”. Calm doesn’t begin with controlling your child; it begins with supporting your nervous system first. When a parent feels more regulated, children naturally respond with more calm, connection, and security. This method is not about perfect parenting. It’s about creating steadiness, confidence, and calm leadership in everyday family life.
Saskia’s calm energy, her words, touch and her guidance were really just everything I needed to integrate my transition into motherhood deeper into my body. I’d wish such a session for every parent / everyone. I deeply felt replenished, rebalanced and relaxed afterward, and grateful to experience such relaxation again.

From the very beginning, the atmosphere felt safe and warm, which allowed me to fully surrender to the session. I was positively surprised by how powerful breathwork can be and how it can release deeper emotions and blockages. The guidance was gentle and safe, giving me exactly the space I needed.

Saskia’s attention and presence gave me the freedom to surrender and release what surfaced during the session. Her approach is on spot and loving, making me feel safe and seen. The music and space were perfectly chosen: an ideal atmosphere and guidance for breathwork.
