Becoming a mother is one of the most profound transformation we experience. Your identity shifts, instincts awaken, and often the pressure to care for everyone leaves you feeling overwhelmed, and possibly disconnected from your own body. I understand this deeply, both from my personal experience as a mother and from my professional work supporting mothers through this transition.
My approach blends breathwork, nervous system regulation, and an understanding of the parental brain to help mothers reconnect with themselves. Together, we work to release tension, reduce overwhelm, and cultivate calm, presence, and resilience in daily life. I also draw on my background in cultural anthropology, exploring how societal norms shape the way we relate and nurture.
Through 1:1 guidance and workshops, I help mothers feel calmer, more present, and more grounded so they can care for themselves and their families with ease, confidence, and joy.

A calmer way of inhabiting parenthood.
The first years of parenthood can feel beautiful and overwhelming at the same time. The Calm Together Method™ is a guided group journey for parents who feel overstimulated, emotionally reactive, or constantly “on”. Calm doesn’t begin with controlling your child; it begins with supporting your nervous system first. When a parent feels more regulated, children naturally respond with more calm, connection, and security. This method is not about perfect parenting. It’s about creating steadiness, confidence, and calm leadership in everyday family life.

I’m Saskia, a breathwork coach, cultural anthropologist, parental brain educator, and a mother. I’ve always been interested in how culture and the body shape the way we live and relate.
My own work really started from experience. I went through periods where I felt overwhelmed and not really at home in my body, and I slowly started to understand my nervous system in a different way. Becoming a mother made all of that even more real for me. It brought me back to something very simple: the breath. That became my way of finding more steadiness again in the middle of everything.
Now I work with parents who feel overwhelmed or constantly “on,” and I help them come back to more calm, regulation, and connection in themselves and in their daily life.
